
Forest Elementary School enjoyed an enrichment program on Thursday with the Harlem Wizards! The professional athletes demonstrated their basketball skills and tricks and were great showmen who delivered fantastic entertainment to all. There was much excitement and energy from the students with lots of student and staff participation loaded with humor and smiles. They ended the assemblies with a positive message about the importance of education, health, and fitness.

Students in Ms. Katz’s 3rd-grade classroom at Forest are selecting 10 books each to take home for the summer. These books are located in the school’s “The Owl’s Nest” book room which offers free books to students!

Forest School utilizes an integrated support model that nurtures the philosophy of supports for all. Beginning with arrival, students are greeted by all staff including the principal, social worker, school psychologist, and behaviorist, to ensure that each day starts positive. The hallways are decorated with student celebrations of learning and monthly awards for perfect attendance ensure that each child has a positive experience in school.
